Long Term Care Meetings
The South Dakota Department of Social Services will hold sessions across the state this month to inform people about the importance of planning for
long-term care and the availability of state-subsidized long-term care insurance.
The hour-long education sessions are free, open to the public and available at these locations:
* Vermillion: 9 a.m., noon and 7 p.m. today at the Vermillion Public Library, 18 Church St.
* Tyndall: 9 a.m. and noon Tuesday at the Good Samaritan Center, 2304 Laurel St.
* Yankton: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Minerva's Convention Center, 1607 E. Highway 50.
* Parkston: 9 a.m. and noon Wednesday at the Parkston Public Library, 110 W. Main St.
* Parker: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Parker Senior Center, Inc., 100 E. Sanborn St.
* Sioux Falls: 7 a.m., 9 a.m., noon and 7 p.m. Thursday at the downtown YWCA, 300 W. 11th St.
* Canton: 9 a.m. and noon Friday at the Canton Public Library, 225 N. Broadway St.
* Brandon: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Friday at Pizza Ranch, Wood Shed Room, 202 S. Splitrock Blvd.
